Mr. Alan Stein started at Hill City Jr./Sr. High School in August of 2003 as the At Risk Director, Athletic Director, and had various coaching duties. Presently, Alan is in his fifth year as the High School Principal and in his ninth year as the Head Volleyball Coach.
He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance. He then completed his Master’s degree in Education Administration also from Fort Hays State University.
Alan graduated from Spearville High School in 1989. Alan is married to Katia, who is a University of Texas graduate and a former longhorn volleyball player. She is a Registered Nurse at Graham County Hospital. Alan and Katia are the proud owners of a spoiled boxer named Shaq O’Neil.
Hobbies include waterskiing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, golfing, and watching sports.
