Ten candidates were selected by the student body to the 2019 Ringneck Homecoming Court. Seniors nominated included Jacelynn Lemon, daughter of Joel and Holly Lemon; Katie Mauck, daughter of Brandon and Jolyn Mauck; Claire Mersch, daughter of Dennis and Tammy Mersch; Hannah Schuckman, daughter of Darin and Amy Schuckman; Madison Yoder, daughter of Clayton and Kendra Yoder; Michael Blanks, son of Mike and Julie Blanks; Dalen Journigan, son of Reggie and Chiterria Jordan; Brady Keith, son of Brad and Wendy Keith; Jake Lindenman, son of Shawn and Melissa Lindenman; and Drake Stephen, son of Dave and Kelly Stephen. Crownbearers were kindergartners Liberty Billips, daughter of Bruce and Roseanne Billips, and Jace Ashbaugh, son of Todd and Carrie Ashbaugh. On Friday, Sept. 20, the candidates were introduced at the football stadium prior to the Hill City versus Thunder Ridge homecoming game kickoff. The 2018 Homecoming Royalty, Kally Smith and Aaron McDowell, passed their crowns on to the new queen and king, Katie Mauck and Brady Keith.
