The Varsity Ringneck Football Team had a great start to their season after they took down the #3 State ranked and rival Trego Golden Eagles last Friday, 38-32. Senior Slade Rohr propelled the Ringnecks rushing game with 21 carries for 182 yards and 3 touchdowns. Senior and starting quarterback Chase Bell added 123 passing yards and 3 touchdowns through the air - two of those being caught by junior Jaxson Smith, and the other by junior Blake Harmon. Junior Briggs Born led the Ringnecks defense by helping shut down the run with 13 tackles. As the Ringnecks move past this outstanding win, they hope to keep the momentum rolling and improve their record to 2-0 as they prepare to face the Wallace County Wildcats. The Ringnecks will kick off at 7:00 PM tonight, Friday, September 11, at Ringneck Stadium. GO RINGNECKS!!!
